I've had this bookmarked for a while and I meant to write about it sooner.
A few months ago, the September issue of Glamour hit newsstands. In that issue was a picture that sparked so many positive comments that it started somewhat of a revolution. It’s a picture of Lizzi Miller, who at a size 12-14 (an average body-size, really), is a plus-size model. But this picture shows her stomach hanging. And it’s what most women out there look like, but it’s never really been shown in the media before.
I just wanted to say how much I like that picture, and I hope that more magazines follow suit by representing a wider range of body types. This woman is clearly beautiful, and she’s not stick-thin. Score one for the normal girls!
