I don’t share drink recipes often, but this one is worth it. It’s a keto chocolate protein shake that made for a good breakfast! I didn’t use the ice (and removed it from the ingredients below) and added a scoop of collagen peptides. It’s probably not going to keep you full until lunch, but it’s a good smoothie.
¾ cup almond milk
2 Tbsp. almond butter
2 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
2 Tbsp. keto-friendly sugar substitute
1 Tbsp. chia seeds
2 Tbsp. hemp seeds
1 scoop collagen peptides (optional; omit for vegan version)
½ Tbsp. vanilla
1 pinch kosher salt
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into a glass and garnish with more chia and hemp seeds if desired.
