Sparkling fruit juices

Here are two new kinds of naturally sweetened soda that I like, and both come in tall, lean cans (designer cans, if you will, but I like the novelty). First, President’s Choice 100% Sparkling Fruit Juice; I tried the pomegranate cranberry, but it also comes in peach mango and orange tangerine; other flavours are available in different formats. I love that there is no food coloring and that all the sugar is from natural fruit juices. Plus, each can contains 2 full servings of fruit! It’s only available in Provigo, Loblaws and Maxi stores, but President’s Choice does have some really great products, so it’s worth the detour every once in a while.

Second, there’s Santa Cruz Organic Sparkling Beverages; there are lots of flavours that look good, but I tried the raspberry lemonade. The drink itself is very pink, but all the color comes from raspberry purée! It is sweetened with cane juice, and all the ingredients are certified USDA Organic. I really loved the taste of this one, more so than the pomegranate raspberry I had tried first. It’s not available everywhere, though; I found it in Ontario, but I haven’t seen it in Quebec yet (though I haven’t exactly been on a hunt for it in various chains and locations, either). Do try it if you find it!
